Darman Livestock & General Company Ltd. was founded in early 2010 by Mawliid Cumar Cabdi. What began as a single pastoral operation has grown into a regional enterprise serving major Gulf markets with quality livestock from the Horn of Africa.
For over 16 years, the company has been involved in sourcing, purchasing, trading, collecting, transporting, and exporting live animals. Today, Darman oversees a network that connects pastoralists, suppliers, brokers, traders, and transporters across Somaliland, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia.
With more than 2.1 million head of livestock exported to date, Darman has become a trusted partner for institutional buyers in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, the UAE, and Qatar.
